'Baboon' remark in labour court [So. Africa]

The Pretoria High Court has instructed the labour court to deal with a white mine captain who allegedly referred to black miners as "baboons". A magistrate earlier referred the dispute between Bethuel Chiloane, a belt attendant and shop steward at Lebowa Platinum Mines [part of Anglo American], and his boss, Morne Strydom, to the equality court...[finding] that the words complain[ed] about amounted to hate speech.
