CII-ITC Centre of Excellence for Sustainable Development awarded those Indian companies, which made a significant contribution to the society while accomplishing their business operations in the spirit of sustainability...[T]he highest recognition was bagged by Tata Chemicals Ltd. - Crop nutrition and agri business, Babrala...The other winners in various levels of recognition were Tata Steel...Toyota Kirloskar motor pvt ltd, Tata Consultancy Services, Ambuja Cements, Bhilai steel plant, SAIL, Reliance industries - Hazira manufacturing division, and Tata chemicals - Mithapur plant. Paharpur business centre, Biodiversity Conservation India pvt ltd, Kennametal India, Shree cements, Yes bank ltd, SRF ltd- chemicals division were some of the relatively new names with small turnover which made a big impact through their sustainable efforts.
