Cividep issues rejoinder to H&M's statement

What exactly does H&M do to make their suppliers understand that freedom of association is the right of every worker?...Your suppliers can contact Garment Labour Union(GLU) or other trade unions active in the sector and should allow their employees to become member of any of these unions...we...like to remind H&M that Internal Workers’ Committees are not a substitute for independent trade unions...Could you provide contacts of these 10 factories to Cividep so that we could evaluate the effectiveness of these trainings? [Business & Human Rights Resource Centre invited H&M to respond to this, response included].
