[DOC] Recommendations of the French National Contact Point (PCN) intended for EDF and its partners with regard to the implementation of the "Nam Theun 2" project in Laos

On the basis of all the documents gathered...as well as...the consultations of experts...the PCN [National Contact Point] has come to the conclusion that as the available information stands, no breach of OECD guidelines could be attributed to EDF and that EDF had even made commitments going beyond these guidelines...Considering, however, that it is also up to PCN to watch over the effective implementation of the company’s commitments...the members of PCN have decided to address the following recommendations...
