DTI 'concerned' about Sasol's BEE deal [So. Africa]

The department of trade and industry (DTI) is concerned about Sasol's proposed Black Economic Empowerment (BEE) deal, it said in a statement on Friday. The DTI expressed apprehension that Sasol's proposed Employee Share Ownership Scheme (ESOP) fell short of the level of empowerment envisioned in the Codes of Good Practice for Broad-Based Black Economic Empowerment.
