Ethiopia: Human Rights Watch says "at least 75 protesters" killed by govt. forces protesting land alienation for development
Human Rights Watch reports that "at least 75" peaceful protesters were recently killed and many others wounded when government security forces used lethal force to quell the protests. The protests began when the government sought to clear a forest for an investment project.
