European Hub on Business & Human Rights

The European Hub on Business and Human Rights (“the Hub”) is a platform for companies across Europe to:

  • Exchange knowledge and learn from peers and experts
  • Share best practices on the topic of business and human rights, and
  • Incubate solutions on identified gaps

Engage in the Hub

1. Map, Compare & Learn from company good practices:

Focused on embedding human rights in company functions (procurement, human resources & risk) companies can contribute to the practice collection & benefit from the final outcome: a handbook on peer review analysis:, with tips, techniques, thoughts, and  practical experience on how to effectively embed human rights into company functions

2. European Roadshow to build capacities at global and local level:

  •  Local introductory workshops on embedding human rights
  •  Local Function-specific workshops

European events: in June and December to disseminate and amplify learnings and best practices

3. Webinar series on the different steps to embed human rights:

Series tailored different levels of maturity of companies’ approach to human rights to advance company ability to understand and embed respect for human rights. Strong focus is given to practice sharing.

4. European Hub positioning as trusted expert and supporting actor for local and European efforts in advancing respect human rights
