Ford settles discrimination suit - Black employees say they were barred from apprenticeship programs in factories [USA]

A federal judge has given preliminary approval to a settlement in which Ford... would guarantee black employees access to an apprenticeship training program from which they say they were illegally barred...Ford says it did nothing wrong in administering the program...The proposed settlement could cost Ford more than $11 million.
