Hollande: France will back Burma transition

French President Francois Hollande has told Burmese pro-democracy leader Aung San Suu Kyi that France will do everything possible to help the country's democratic transition...Ms Suu Kyi has called for investment in Burma's struggling economy, but says this should not be at the expense of ongoing political reforms. She's also met with executives from the French energy giant, Total, which operates the offshore Yadana gas field in Burma.
