India: Factory owner faces criminal charges for death of worker alleged to have been bonded labourer

Owner of a factory was booked on Tuesday for enslaving a youth found dead in the morning. Prakash Chandra Vaish, ran a unit that polishes iron rods and other construction material...Anupam Tiwari (21) had been working for Vaish for past seven years...On the basis of the complaint forwarded to Alambagh police station by D S Tiwari, father of the deceased, a case was registered against Vaish under IPC sections 302 (murder) and 370 (buying or selling a person as bonded labourer)...Tiwari meanwhile alleged Vaish employed labourers and treated them in an inhuman way and that his son was not allowed to go on leave.
