Killing of Student: Ijaw Youth Council Asks Shell to Stop Work [Nigeria]

The Ijaw Youth Council has called on Shell Petroleum Development Company and her contract company, Dec Oil and Gas to stop all work including oil exploration in the Nun River flow station with immediate effect. This call is coming on the heel of the recent killing of a 22-year-old secondary school student at Aguobiri community in the old Southern Ijaw Local Government Area of Bayelsa State by armed mobile policemen at the company's location.
