In Nicaragua, the poorest country in Central America, freelance mining is not illegal. Two miners had lost their lives several weeks ago and now, other 5 are still missing after heavy rains made a mine belonging to Hemco (part of Mineros SA) collapse. Twenty miners were already rescued.
