Nike, Nordstrom Cited in Study of Unfair Labor Practices Abroad

Nike Inc., Nordstrom Inc. and 8 other companies have contracts with factories in countries such as China and Guatemala that are not following minimal standards for health, safety, pay and other labor rights, a labor group [Fair Labor Association] said...The companies that volunteered to be monitored shouldn't be subject to new boycotts based on the report, said Anne Lally, a spokeswoman for the group.
