PC companies do bit for climate change

The latest edition of Greenpeace's 'Guide to Greener Electronics' ranking shows a disappointing slump from some major companies in the toxics category, but an overall improvement on climate change criteria. "ICT is a key sector in the fight against climate change…" said Greenpeace Communications Manager Suzette Jackson. "Samsung joins Philips in publicly demonstrating support for global steps to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and tackle climate change.
