[PDF] Business and human rights: opinion on the issues associated with the application by France of the United Nations' Guiding Principles

The Minister Delegate for European Affairs and the Minister Delegate for Development referred to the CNCDH on 21 February 2013 to request a contribution for the preparation of a French action plan for the application of the United Nations Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights...In accordance with the referral, the present opinion deals primarily with the first and third pillars and is the result of much long-term global reflection on the part of the Commission on the responsibility of businesses with regard to human rights, with the adoption of anopinion and the publication of two studies on the matter in 2008 and 2009.
