[PDF] Challenges and opportunities of the UNGPs for NGO campaigning and investors’ active ownership strategies [Copenhagen, 30 Jun]

At the event, experts from The Pedagogues’ Pension Fund, IFU, EKF, ActionAid Denmark, CARE and the Danish Institute for Human Rights will discuss the status of the use of the UN Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights in relation to responsible investment, as well as discuss the opportunities and challenges for businesses and NGO’s in applying the global principles as a means to come to grips with adverse impacts on human rights. In addition , the publication “Constructive Campaigning” will be launched. Constructive Campaigning is a guide for civil society organizations in addressing adverse impacts on human rights related to business. The guide is published by the International Commission of Jurists (Denmark) and Reprieve, with assistance of Dreyer Fonden and GLOBAL CSR.
