[PDF] Report from Business Stakeholder Meeting at Second United Nations Forum on Business and Human Rights

This is the report of the Business Stakeholder Meeting held on 2 December 2013 prior to the UN Forum on Business and Human Rights.The meeting was aimed at providing an opportunity for business representatives to share and discuss diverse actions, key challenges and opportunities in relation to the implementation of the UN Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights (UNGPs). The meeting focused on how companies engage business partners, civil society, affected individuals and governments in the context of meeting the Corporate Responsibility to Respect Human Rights. Upon the invitation of the UNWG, the Secretariats of five business organizations designed and convened the meeting: the UN Global Compact (UNGC), the International Organization of Employers (IOE), the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC), the Global Business Initiative on Human Rights (GBI), and Business for Social Responsibility (BSR).
