Protests over approval for Kent coal power plant [UK]

A local authority…approved plans to build Britain's first coal-fired power station in 24 years, sparking criticism from environmental campaigners…Greenpeace slammed the decision…to let energy giant E.ON replace existing coal-fired units at Kingsnorth power station with two new cleaner coal units.
