Rio Tinto calls for Blair Athol ruling to be overturned [Australia]

Mining giant Rio Tinto is attempting to overturn a decision that it reinstate 16 retrenched workers at its Blair Athol mine in central Queensland. The company is appealing against a decision of the Australian Industrial Relations Commission (IRC) in April this year that the workers were unfairly selected for dismissal because of their union membership.
