Study says firms ignore global warming

The study rated the companies in 14 categories covering the oversight of climate-change issues by corporate boards and progress in setting explicit performance goals as well as disclosure. Two foreign oil companies, BP and Royal Dutch/Shell, were the only ones in the survey credited with activity in all 14 categories on the checklist. The worst performers, including ExxonMobil and General Electric, have reported just four of the practices the report identified as prudent.
