Recently, JPMorgan Chase’s business resource group, PRIDE Global, saw a void in resources and support across a broad range of issues pertaining to LGBT families and sought to fill it by creating its “Proud Families” initiative under its PRIDE Global Advocacy Committee. With Proud Families, the JPMorgan Chase PRIDE group seeks to support its members by providing programming and access to resources relevant to LGBT families…The HRC [Human Rights Campaign] Foundation salutes the JPMC PRIDE Global business resource group in forming Proud Families. HRC’s Beck Bailey, deputy director of employee engagement says “JPMorgan Chase’s Proud Families initiative is innovative and forward thinking. Employees with LGBT families – however you define them – need access to support, information and resources to navigate the legal and social concerns they face. Proud Families is a prime example of how an employee resource group can provide value to its constituents as well as the employer.”…
