19 September 2013, Geneva, Switzerland Representatives from 135 private security companies, governments and human rights organizations took part in a launch conference of the Association of the International Code of Conduct for Private Security Service Providers. This multi-stakeholder initiative aims to help ensure the protection of human rights and international humanitarian law by private security companies.
