Myanmar: Garment workers reportedly dismissed due to minor dispute ahead of brand inspection; incl. co. responses

In February 2024, it was reported that two workers at Wai Hua Myanmar factory were unfairly dismissed because they had had a minor dispute when inspectors from a brand were expected to come. Workers were forced to work urgently ahead of the inspection and those who made mistakes were dismissed.

In September 2024, Business & Human Rights Resource Centre invited Tendam, Hang Ten and LPP S.A (for its MOHITO brand) to respond. Responses can be found below.
