The International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women is celebrated annually on 25 November. Thirty years after the UN has established this international day in 1981, violence against women continues to be an issue worldwide. States and companies are called to exercise due diligence to end gender-based violence and protect women and women human rights defenders, including in the digital sphere.
