1) A briefing note about the case from the law firm Leigh Day's international brochure

2) A map of Kabwe showing the distribution of Pb (mg/kg) in township soils around the Pb Zn mining complex

3) A 2019 study by Prof Yabe et al. entitled “Current trends of blood lead levels, distribution patterns and exposure variations among household members in Kabwe, Zambia”

5) A 2015 study by Prof Yabe which investigated blood lead levels (“BLLs”) in children under the age of 7 years in townships around the mine.

6) A chart by the WHO showing the potential health effects of different BLLs

7) A graph from the 1975 study by A.R.L Clark of the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine. Clark produced the very first study on the sources and health impacts of lead pollution in Kasanda, Makululu and Chowa townships between 1971 and 1974.  Clark found high levels of environmental lead pollution and significantly elevated BLLs in children living in these communities.
