Greenpeace USA's Dollars vs. Democracy Scorecard ranks companies' actions & inactions in support of voting rights; incl. co. responses
Greenpeace USA has tracked hundreds of companies' campaign donations and public statements on voting rights to develop a scorecard on actions (and inactions) taken to protect democracy and voting rights in the United States. The scorecard assigns grades to over 40 companies on a scale of A to F based on whether the company responded to Greenpeace USA's letter about the report; whether they have supported the For the People Act and the John Lewis Voting Rights Advancement Act; and whether they have publicly declared their opposition to the US Chamber of Commerce stance against the For the People Act.
Business & Human Rights Resource Centre invited companies with an "F" score to respond. Chevron, Coca-Cola, and Home Depot responded. American Electric Power, Altria Group, Anthem Blue Cross Blue Shield, AT&T, Comcast, ConocoPhillips, Delta Air Lines, Dominion Energy, FedEx, Kaiser Permanente, Koch Industries, Marathon Petroleum, Reynolds America, UnitedHealth Group, UPS, and Verizon did not.
