The president of the Chapra Nation, Olivia Bisa Tirko, received a call saying "you keep running away like scum".

The threats against Bisa began after she denounced Petroperú in September 2023 for damage caused to Chapra territory following a spill at kilometre 177 of the northern Peruvian pipeline.
