Aspire Zone told AI the the SC Worker Welfare Standards do not apply to Nakheel's contract on the Aspire Zone green areas because it is not an official World Cup project.

Amnesty International received two letters from Eversendai. However, the company did not provide any information to show it had carried out due diligence checks before engaging Seven Hills. Eversendai terminated its contract with Seven Hills over accommodation non-compliance. They stated to AI that "no remedial action is deemed necessary" as the workers were not directly engaged by them.
