Apparel Company Dashboards

Business & Human Rights Resource Centre (BHRRC) has created new company 'dashboard' pages for 275 global fashion and textile companies to provide labour rights advocates and unions easy-to-access information about company performance and actions in protecting and respecting the rights of garment workers in their supply chains.

Each company page includes company and financial information, and links to their supplier facilities listed on the Open Apparel Registry and Mapped in Bangladesh. The pages also present the full database of labour and human rights allegations BHRRC has collected about each company over the last 18 years and shows the kinds of rights issues most frequently associated with each company. Also included are lawsuits against companies over alleged rights violations and benchmark rankings for the Fashion Transparency Index, KnowTheChain and Corporate Human Rights Benchmark.

BHRRC

To signpost a company’s performance on labour rights in their supply chain, we identified key data points on transparency, freedom of association and living wages to display as indicators, though we recognise the gulf between corporate policies and practice and welcome information to help us build our database.

Fifty of the companies are also featured on our COVID-19 apparel tracker and have additional indicators to show actions they have taken in response to the pandemic.

You can explore the full set of company dashboards here.

The company dashboard pages will be updated on an ongoing basis. If you have additional information on these issues, please contact us at contact@business-humanrights.org with the subject line ‘Apparel company pages’.
