Corporate Legal Accountability Quarterly Update – Issue 45, June 2023: Vexatious lawsuits: Corporate use of SLAPPs to silence critics
This Corporate Legal Accountability Quarterly Update looks at the most significant developments in corporate legal accountability for human rights abuses in the last quarter and includes:
- A Highlight examining how powerful business actors abuse legal systems worldwide to intimidate and silence human rights defenders who speak out against corporate harms, based on our updated global analysis on the use of SLAPPs available here.
