Benetton Group's response to allegations of abuses in Myanmar garment factories - February 2024 Update

Benetton Group received and evaluated a report (verified by a third party audit firm) from the supplier dated to December 2023, where overtime issue was highlighted. However, the non-compliances found were much less critical than the violations reported in the allegation. Benetton Group is made aware of this allegation in January 2024 thanks to the report of Business & Human Rights Resource Centre; we are committed to investigate on the incidents and to strictly monitor the supplier on the corrective action plan, with special attention to the violations reported. Benetton Group firmly condemns any form of worker abuse and is committed to ensure that all individuals involved in its supply chain are treated fairly and correctly.
