Benito Peralta Arias was a community leader from San Jeronimo Amanalco in the municipality of Texcoco. He had spoken out and lead a movement against the "Huachicoleros" (criminals who steal petrol and sell it illegally), and their links to petrol companies in area. On 21st March 2020 he disappeared and his body was found on 31st March.
