At least 68 people were killed and about 187 injured in a major blast at a factory in eastern China that supplies…indirectly some of the biggest international brands as a subcontractor in the production of wheels, the company and state media reported...Xinhua...said Premier Li Keqiang ordered safety checks to avoid similar industrial accidents...[Zhongrong] contact person...said she had no information about the incident...On its website, Zhongrong...describes itself as a subcontractor to...Citic Dicastal Wheel Manufacturing Co. Dicastal couldn't immediately be reached for comment. A spokeswoman for General Motors Co. said some of the wheels installed on its cars made in China have been processed by Zhongrong as a result of [General Motors’] association with Dicastal...[A]ccording to Dicastal's website, its customers include Germany's Volkswagen AG and Japan's Mitsubishi Motors Corp.
