Disney's Response

Disney's response, 11 November 2020

We take seriously claims of labor standards violations against facilities authorized to manufacture Disney-branded products – including when facilities are unauthorized - and when stakeholders and business partners bring such allegations to us, we work to investigate and address these allegations promptly.

The facility in question was not authorized for the production of Disney products, and the issues alleged are in direct violation of our Code of Conduct. Disney has a long-standing Code of Conduct for facilities involved in the production of our consumer products and we engaged our licensee to work with key stakeholders to achieve a remedy.
