Fast Retailing's response re. decision to reduce orders to Bangladeshi garment suppliers following July protests

We invited Fast Retailing to provide clarification or further details regarding any decision to reduce orders placed to Bangladeshi garment producing suppliers, following protests in July 2024.

Fast Retailing's response:

We would like to re-emphasize that Fast Retailing has not cancelled any orders in Bangladesh following the July 2024 protests. Moreover, we previously made public our intention to continue placing orders in Bangladesh while factories and logistics remain operational, and that we have no plans to withdraw. As with all our manufacturing locations, all orders by Fast Retailing are placed in accordance with our Responsible Purchasing Policy.
