JD Sports' response to allegations of abuses in Myanmar garment factories

Please see below the summary for Myanmar and the specific factories you mention.

  • Popular Garment

This factory had a BSCI audit and was subsequently authorised for production, but we did not proceed with this factory, and it will be removed from our factory list accordingly.

  • Ceres Enterprise

This was signed off with a follow up BSCI Audit and the non-compliances given timelines for correction, however we have ceased production in this factory in 2021, this season had only 2 orders with a value of $13,200.32 which were placed in 2020 and completed and shipped out in March 2021.

No further production has been planned for this factory.

We can confirm that at the time of the allegation JD Group were not working with this factory and it will be removed from our factory base due to non-use on the next update.
