McDonald's response to New York Times alleging audits fail to detect child labour in food supply chains
We're committed to driving ethical employment practices across every corner of our supply chain – from the many suppliers that grow, produce and package our food to the crew members working in our restaurants. Every McDonald’s supplier is held to a rigorous Code of Conduct that includes third-party audits and corrective action if our high standards are not met. We continue to work with our suppliers and industry partners like AIM-Progress on enhanced solutions to this industry-wide challenge – such as adding night shifts into our auditing process and creating additional training on responsible hiring for McDonald's suppliers that’s rolling out this year. Additional details on McDonald’s commitment to human rights and our full Supplier Code of Conduct can be found on our website here.
