Myanmar: Garment workers forced to sleep overnight to meet excessive production targets; incl. co. response

In February 2024, it was reported that workers at Dishang Kenny were facing a series of violations, including workers forced to sleep inside the factory due to mandatory overtime, workers fired if they say they can't work overtime, wage cuts, day labourers denied permanent contracts, excessive production targets and unpaid overtime if workers don't meet their targets.

In September 2024, Business & Human Rights Resource Centre invited Shimamura, KIABI, K-Way, and LPP (for its RESERVED brand) to respond. Responses can be found below.
