“Myanmar Tencent Fashion garment workers face record overtime, free OT and illegal layoffs”, 4 April 2022
Workers' sewing standards have been unjustly...and [workers have] been forced to work overtime on the grounds that the standards are not up to standard. If the standard is not met [workers face] threats. Workers at the Myanmar Tencent Fashion garment factory are facing hardships due to illegal layoffs, according to the victims…
"In addition to not being able to take time off work at the factory, workers are being forced to work on Sundays…for free… if [workers] do not meet the standards, they will be forced to resign," said one of the factory workers.
