New Balance's response to 'Who pays for the crisis' tracker allegations - March 2024

[…]

Jiaxgin Quang Viet Garment Co. (QVC)

QVC manufactures some apparel products for New Balance, as well as for other international brands. Regarding the BHRRC question regarding an April 2023 incident at QVC, we can confirm that New Balance did not have or cancel any orders during that period, so our purchasing practices did not contribute to an alleged disruption. Nevertheless, as part of our global supplier monitoring program, - our understanding is that the situation was resolved by the factory and a cross-functional committee was formed that meets bimonthly to review workers’ wages and benefits and ensure compliance with their employment agreements and local law.

PouYuen Vietnam

New Balance does produce with PouYuen Vietnam but did not source from the factory in BHRRC’s inquiry.
