Recent reports in New Zealand media tell of widespread exploitation of Chinese workers recruited into various sectors of employment. Workers are reportedly paying thousands of dollars for work visas and in other recruitment costs but arriving in New Zealand to find jobs, working conditions and living situations different than promised.
