PETRONAS and its subsidiary operating in Myanmar, PC Myanmar (Hong Kong) Ltd (PCML) continues to place the safety, security and health of its employees working at its areas of operations as the highest priority.

PCML is guided by PETRONAS’ Human Rights Commitment in respecting internationally recognised human rights where it operates. PCML is also guided by PETRONAS’ standards and guidelines which are in line with the United Nations Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights (UNGPs).

The company is identifying any necessary measures that may be required to ensure it continues to uphold PETRONAS’ Human Rights Commitment at all times, including during the current situation. PCML hopes for peace and stability to return quickly for the nation’s benefit.

As a business entity, PCML as part of PETRONAS Group adheres to prudent corporate governance and strict business practices, in line with the applicable laws.
