Nakheel Landscapes returned all passports to its workers, moved its workers to new accommodation and established an Employee Consulting Procedure and put in place elected worker representatives who can represent the workers and raise problems. Aspire Zone told AI the the SC Worker Welfare Standards do not apply to Nakheel's contract on the Aspire Zone green areas because it is not an official World Cup project.

Following an audit by the JV which uncovered the sub-standard accommodation, Eversendai employees were rehoused. After AI raised the issue of withheld passports, Eversendai confirmed that it had returned passports to migrant workers.

Amnesty International received two letters from Eversendai. However, the company did not provide any information to show it had carried out due diligence checks before engaging Seven Hills. Eversendai terminated its contract with Seven Hills over accommodation non-compliance. They stated to AI that "no remedial action is deemed necessary" as the workers were not directly engaged by them.
