Response of Monclova Internacional to concerns over workplace safety & wages

The management of the Monclova facility takes the safety and health of its employees very seriously. Reportable accident rates (accidents that require more than simple first aid) have been reduced from a total of 29 in 1999 to only four in the last 12 months... As for our overall safety programs, we have a wide-range of written safety policies and procedures... We also feel that we pay competitive, market-rate wages...
