Ukraine: Govt. calls on IMF not to resume cooperation with Russia as it wages ‘the largest aggressive war in Europe since World War II’

The International Monetary Fund (IMF) will send its official mission to Russia for the first time since the start of the full-scale invasion of Ukraine, according to the IMF's Russian executive director. The mission will start online on September 16 and will be followed by an IMF delegation visit to Russia until the beginning of October.

The Ukrainian government has called upon the IMF not to resume cooperation with Russia while the country is waging the war in Europe in violation of the UN Charter.
