Court arrested managers of Poltava GZK owned by Zhevago, bail - from 2 to 60 million, 07 July 2021
Pechersk Court of Kyiv chose preventive measures against the management of Poltava Mining and Processing Plant, as well as the management of the company through which the fraud at the enterprise took place. "According to the judge's decision, all six suspects should be held in a pre-trial detention center with an alternative to bail. The organizer of the fraud must contribute 60 million hryvnias, the rest - from 2 to 40 million hryvnias," the message reads.
The management of the plant illegally took possession of almost 400 million hryvnias from the extraction and further sale of minerals of state importance without appropriate permits.
"In particular, the top management sold crushed stone raw materials, which were made from waste mined in mineral mines, without appropriate permits. The cash from the sale was taken out through conversion centers and distributed among the members of the criminal group," the State Bureau of Investigation said.
