Freight and logistics outfit the Deutsche Post DHL Group have got together with the Global Alliance for Vaccines and Immunisation (Gavi), and announced a global partnership to help improve vaccine supply chains in Gavi-supported countries with the intention of delivering life-saving medicines to some of the most remote and poorest people on the planet. The new partnership will spend the next three years improving vaccine supply chains with the goal of increasing immunization coverage, reduce vaccine wastage and better ensure vaccine availability and potency and ultimately intends to help reduce child mortality.
