London Business School: Modern Slavery Act statement

London Business School is committed to carrying out the procurement of goods and services in an ethically responsible and regulatory compliant manner and to striving to ensure that there is no slavery or human trafficking in its own business and its supply chains.

The School is a member of the London Universities Purchases Consortium (LUPC), which exists to facilitate the collaborative procurement of goods and services by its member organisations. The LUPC is committed to supporting the UK Government's Action Plan to implement the UN Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights and to encouraging all of its suppliers to make a commitment to the Base Code of the Ethical Trading Initiative.

The School will develop its direct procurement activity carried on outside the LUPC framework through the introduction of questions to establish how suppliers meet their obligations under the Modern Slavery Act within its standard template for all tenders by the end of 2016-2017.
