Delays Cannot Be Tolerated [Barbados]

With the completion of the three-year International Labour Organisation/United States Department of Labour (ILO/USDOL) HIV/AIDS Workplace Education Programme in Barbados, National Project Co-ordinator, Arlene Husbands, is calling for the transition to a national HIV/AIDS workplace programme… three sectors were targeted…: manufacturing, banking and finance, and tourism…57 peer educators were trained, seven out of the 11 companies that participated have written HIV/AIDS policies, and an alliance for zero tolerance towards the disease was established.
