EEOC sues Hooters over MS discrimination [USA]

The Hooters chain discriminated against a waitress with multiple sclerosis who worked at its Henrietta restaurant by refusing to accommodate her disability, the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission charged in a lawsuit... The EEOC said Hooters of America Inc. refused to reduce the schedule of waitress Melissa Vicari when she was diagnosed with MS in 2003, despite several requests from her neurologist... In a statement, Hooters said it..."made every reasonable accommodation possible for the employee"...
